I think it’s a little aspirational. Like if people don’t feel like they’re thriving, you feel like just $10-20K more would make all the difference. We see this at all levels.
Also, related to the finance talk, could you have a conversation about “pay what you can” or services with a sliding scale form of payment. I’m new in the counseling/coaching field and especially want to make this service accessible to those with limited financial means. But it’s such a subjective thing, that unless you have a very itemized budget, it can be tough to know what is reasonable. And on the flip side, will those with more cushion be willing to pay more in order to balance the scale?
I’m gonna need to see this spreadsheet!! I have lots of questions. Like does Ben know you do this? Do you find yourself doing things just for the spreadsheet? What changes have you seen doing it daily versus quarterly?
